The Breville BTA840XL (Die-Cast 4-Slice Smart Toaster) makes toasting feel premium. "Lift & Look" is the killer feature - press a button and the toast rises momentarily so you can check progress without canceling the cycle. "A Bit More" adds 30 seconds if it's not quite done.
The die-cast metal body is heavy and substantial - it's not going anywhere during operation. The LED countdown display shows exactly how much time remains. Four extra-wide slots handle artisan bread, bagels, and English muffins comfortably.
