Our Review
The Cuisinart Touch to Toast is a leverless 4-slice toaster - you press a touchscreen button instead of pushing down a lever. It sounds gimmicky, but in practice, it eliminates the most common toaster failure point (the lever mechanism).
Seven shade settings provide fine control, and dedicated Bagel, Defrost, and Reheat buttons work reliably. Extra-wide slots accommodate thick-cut artisan bread without jamming. The stainless steel body looks good on the counter.
At $80, it's half the price of the Breville Smart Toaster. The 3-year warranty is generous. The touchscreen can be finicky with wet fingers, and the countdown display isn't as satisfying as Breville's. But for a feature-rich 4-slice toaster at a reasonable price, this is our pick.
