The Uplift V2 Standard is the Commercial model minus the stability crossbar, saving you about $50-80. For most users with a typical dual-monitor setup on a 60-inch or smaller desktop, the difference is barely noticeable. The same 355 lb dual-motor lift, same 15-year warranty, same vast desktop customization.
If you're choosing between the Standard and Commercial V2: go Standard for 60-inch or smaller desks, lighter loads, or if you're under 6 feet. Go Commercial for 72-inch+ desktops, heavy monitor arms, or if you're tall and need maximum stability at standing height. Both are excellent - the Commercial just adds an extra margin of wobble protection for edge cases.
